Home-visiting programs nationwide have long garnered bipartisan support, but their federal funding expires at the end of September, and advocates are concerned.
Legislation has been introduced to renew the funding in the House but not the Senate. President Donald Trump’s budget for the 2018 fiscal year includes $400 million for Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting programs, the same as this year’s allocation.
