A new program in Highlands County aims for healthy outcomes for young first-time moms and their babies by partnering them with specially trained nurses.
The Nurse-Family Partnership program,which is starting to register expectant moms this week, is the latest initiative of The Healthy Start Coalition of Hardee, Highlands and Polk counties.
